We are hiring Dj & Host

Join one of the oldest, largest and fun clubs in Second Life. Dance Island is hiring DJs for all time slots and days.
-We are looking for talented, top-notch Djs and new talent who can demonstrate or may have these qualities:
– Excellent Beat-Mixing
– Mix via Turntables & external equipment.
– Mix via CDJS & external equipment.
– Mix Via VDJ and other software DJ Programs
– Live mix DJ experience of at least 6 months

– No Rock Music
– No Hip-Hop
– No Reggae

– No Drag and Drop Djs
– No Winamp Djs
– No Sam Djs

Dance Island Winter Photo Contest

Dance Island is organizing its first photography contest.
It will be open to anyone who wants to participate.
>> Rules
1 - Theme of the contest is WINTER.
2 - The images MUST BE TAKEN AT DANCE ISLAND. Somewhere on the sim, at a spot of your choice.
3 - The photos can be edited but must maintain the originality of Second Life so no Artificial Intelligence to make the composition real life.
4 - The photos must be sent by 10th January 2025 2pm SLT to Miss Isabella Trance (vortice41).
Picture have to be Full Perm (1024x1024 or 1024x512) and rename it in "DI Winter PC - your legacy name"
5 - The photos will be displayed on the various social channels of Dance Island and on the website.
6 - On Saturday 18th January 2025 during the set 12-2 pm slt the 3 winners will be announced.
The winners will be chosen by a Jury.

2nd Place 500L
3rd Place 300L
